About Our Report

The MedisSnackers Report does just that, it reports on examples and illustrations which demonstrate young people and their media snacking appetite. We could've called it our 'blog' but we like to be a little different.

What no comments?

There are reasons for not having the comments option available on our report. Not least the issue of comment management—anyone who has ever managed a weblog will know that responding to specifc comments and filtering the spam takes a lot of time.

We're not saying we don't want to hear from you. Far from it—it's why we've made available other avenues in which to make your views known, like the feedback form or phone numbers on the 'contact' page.

If you agree, disagree, love, loathe, any of the posts and you have something to share then by all means ping or pick up that phone and we'll discuss. We can even explore creating a response post if need be.

(Case in point: Seth Godin, one of the most popular blogs on the web doesn't have his comment functions turned on and does not lose out in authenticity, popularity or hits—he just has other means by which to contact him).

What no trackbacks?

Again, the intent of this report is not to 'score points' and create avenues for trackbacks from other blogs in order to raise our profile. Our focus is one of reviewing and communicating—trackbacks simply serve no function in that capacity.
