Safeguarding Children Online
[SUMMARY—Nice e-safety guide for newbies.]
(GBR/WORLD) An 'e-saftey' checklist has been produced by Becta for local authorities and children boards (although it can be used by any organisation working with young people and children).
The free downloadable pdf (available here) is invaluable for those departments taking their first tentative steps towards integrating their online services with children and young people. Although, maybe another publication on what pro-social roles tachnology and online activities can play could be the next title released?
Something to highlight at the Children Online conference MediaSnackers will be speaking at next week.
